Holly feels everyone has a responsibility of giving back to the world. But that was not her main reason for applying for the TIE programme. As she puts it, she was an "awkward" kid. She understands what it's like to be an outsider and she has grown to actually like the challenge of being one. As a teenager, a show choir helped her flourish her talent and she believes everyone should have the same opportunity, despite their circumstances. This was crucial for her one-month placement with Barefeet Theatre, in Lusaka, Zambia.
