We take leaders from a number of different industries, companies and disciplines. They can work in advertising, marketing, financial services, law, publishing, events, PR, creative services, design, planning, branding, digital, production….and the list goes on.

The CEO/Head of Talent/HR Director/Brand Manager/department head may pick out their rising stars and put them on a TIE placement so that they can develop their talent in ways that regular training courses just wouldn’t do in the same way.
Or, other companies offer TIE up as a competition. Various people apply, and the company will then send a handful of people per year.
But, in order for the professionals to get involved they do need to be sponsored by their particular company.
TIE is a hands-on tailored programme that runs in total from about six to twelve months, depending on when the participant goes abroad. The participant is only out of the office during the intensive 30-day placement based in another country whilst they are working on their social project. They can fit the rest of the programme around their day jobs.
We have projects in South America, Africa, India, Europe and North America, and we’ll match the participant to the project that best fits their personal, professional and company objectives, ensuring a unique, tailored, mind blowing, and life altering experience every step of the way.
The programme includes development training and orientation sessions to prepare your future leader; coaching sessions to give them the time and space needed to think clearly and objectively about how they can harness the TIE experience to become an empowering milestone that propels them forward in their career journey; a hands on, tailored approach that will ensure they are supported every step of the way; and accommodation, logistical support, 360 evaluations and pre-departure preparation to ensure success.
The program is raw, will push your top talent to the limit, and inject them with a powerful energy. TIE placements are a catalyst to something extraordinary.
There are a few ways to approach the experience.
You may choose to put all of the focus on the one individual involved in the overseas placement. Or, you may want to activate more of the company’s community and/or network in the TIE program by having them act as a support team for the individual back home. Both are equally as valid and impactful. Preparation is key and in order to ensure the individual develops in the best possible way, and you get the biggest return on your investment, we highly recommend that they prepare properly for the placement. We will work with them to ensure that they are clear on what exactly they want to achieve, what they hope to get out of the experience, what they hope to deliver, and what they hope to bring back to your industry and company.
Finally, in order to realise the true impact of TIE, we have learned that companies need to embrace the experience from beginning to end, and have TIE working as a strategic element within the company, linking it with their HR and Corporate Responsibility departments.
