Summary of the project: I spent 2 months working with Plan International, and 9 amazing young girls from around the world, to raise awareness of girls’ rights and advance gender equality.
Claire Jackson, a Board Planning Director from JWT London, worked with Plan International at a UN summit to advance girls’ rights in the developing world.
To quote Claire 'it has been a phenomenal experience!'. She danced in the snow with teenage girls from Cambodia, reported harrowing stories of early & forced marriage in Sierra Leone, learned Urdu from the daughter of a farming community in rural Pakistan and worked with Mariane Pearl on her next blog entry for the New York Times.
