Natalie is Events & Projects manager at Octopus. Her mission is to create high quality, innovative events for customers that help them learn, engage with Octopus and equip them with the tools and knowledge to grow their businesses and support their clients.

She is also involved heavily in internal staff engagement, organising speaker events that tackle issues around mental health in the workplace, and supporting a number of fundraising events and initiatives for the company’s charitable foundation Octopus Giving. In May 2018 she won the highly coveted “Grand Tentacle” at Octopus, a company wide, monthly recognition award that is voted for by peers.

Natalie has a degree in Marketing from Strathclyde University in Glasgow, and as part of her degree she spent a year in the USA, participating in a marketing internship program for car company Chevrolet.

In her spare time Natalie loves to cook, entertain friends and spend time with family. She also loves to read, exercise (yoga and boxing mainly!) and travel.

Natalie is going to Brazil in January 2020 to help Iracambi – an environmental conservation NGO located in the Atlantic forest – to revamp the marketing strategy behind their volunteer programme, which is the organisation’s main source of income. Click here to read more about it.
